When the village learned what lived inside him, the hunters came: first with whispers, then with spears. They called him a monster. He only ever wanted to be left alone.
But the bear does not forget, and it does not forgive. Hunted for what he is, he walks out of the mist with the beast inside him, and this time he is not running.
Who is the real beast: the man who carries the bear inside him, or the man who hunts him for it? Every village has someone it fears simply because he is different.
